Code of ethics

202503-Outlook-Leader-288

We uphold the highest levels of integrity and honesty in all our interactions. We are transparent, truthful, and fair in our dealings with employees, customers, partners, and stakeholders.

We respect the dignity, diversity, and rights of every individual. Discrimination, harassment, or any form of unfair treatment is strictly prohibited. We foster an inclusive and welcoming work environment. We prioritise inclusivity by offering free access to our events, reducing economic and social inequality. Our commitment to accessibility ensures that anyone with an interest in design can participate.

We are committed to sustainability and dedicated to minimising our environmental impact. We strive to reduce waste, conserve resources, and promote sustainable practices in all aspects of our business operations. We actively pursue carbon-neutral certification through Climate Active, to reduce emissions and mitigate climate change. Our event's sustainability practices set an example for others to follow.

We actively engage with and contribute to the well-being of our communities. We support local initiatives, charities, and causes that align with our values, and we encourage the DO team to volunteer and participate in community activities. We also honour the rich cultural heritage of Melbourne by collaborating with Wurundjeri elders, acknowledging the significance of the land and its history. This collaboration ensures that First Peoples' culture, lore, knowledge, and heritage are integral to our event.

We are committed to delivering exceptional experiences that meet and exceed customer expectations. We listen to customer feedback and continuously improve to provide value and satisfaction.

We seek to partner with organisations that share our commitment to ethical practices and sustainability. We expect our suppliers and partners to adhere to similar standards of ethics, integrity, and social responsibility.

We prioritise the well-being, safety, and professional development of our team members. We provide a safe, inclusive, and supportive workplace where they are empowered to thrive.

We safeguard confidential information and respect individuals' privacy rights. We handle data responsibly and in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

We stand firmly against all forms of modern slavery, forced labour, and human trafficking. We believe every person has the right to work freely, safely, and with dignity. We expect the same commitment from our partners, suppliers, and collaborators, and we actively seek to work only with those who share these values.

We recognise that modern slavery can exist in complex supply chains. As part of our ethical responsibility, we commit to being vigilant, asking hard questions, and taking action where risks are identified. Together, we aim to ensure our work and our community contribute to a world where exploitation has no place.

We adhere to all local, national, and international laws and regulations governing our business operations. Non-compliance is not tolerated.

We encourage all employees and stakeholders to report any violations of this Code of Ethics or any unethical behaviour they encounter. We provide avenues for reporting, ensuring protection against retaliation.

Violations of this Code of Ethics will result in appropriate disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment or termination of business relationships. We are committed to a culture of accountability.

This Code of Ethics is a living document and will be reviewed periodically to ensure its relevance and effectiveness. We are committed to continuous improvement in our ethical practices.

By adopting and adhering to this Code of Ethics, we demonstrate our commitment to being a responsible, ethical, and sustainable business. We invite all employees, partners, and stakeholders to embrace these principles in their daily interactions and decision-making.

The Outlook Leadership is responsible for ensuring the promotion and adherence to this Code of Ethics throughout the organisation.
